Easy Kids' Omelette Recipe

  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup of diced ham or cooked bacon
  • 1/4 cup of diced bell peppers (optional)
  • 1/4 cup of diced tomatoes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup of chopped spinach (optional)
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing the pan
Instructions:
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well beaten.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Pour 1/4 of the egg mixture into the skillet and swirl it around to evenly coat the bottom.
  4. Cook for about 2 minutes, or until the edges start to set.
  5. Sprinkle 1/4 of the cheese, ham or bacon, and any additional optional ingredients evenly over one side of the omelette.
  6. Using a spatula, gently fold the other side of the omelette over the filling.
